“We’ve been here two years, and it’s just been a wonderful place to be.”
The Bettins had grown tired of caring for their home through more than 50 Chicago winters. Now, at Monarch Landing, they are active and carefree…and their home cares for them.
"I love the independence that I have here."
For Carol, Monarch Landing is a place of involvement, cultural interaction and independence. She styled her apartment home after her past home, but she lives in the present and for the future.
“We made friends that we cannot imagine our lives without.”
When the Iseleys’ children gave the thumbs-up, they knew that Monarch Landing was the place for them. Now they are two of the most active grandparents imaginable, and contribute mightily to the neighborly spirit at Monarch Landing.
“Monarch Landing encourages everybody to be active.”
Three friends and bike-riding companions look back on their decision to join the Monarch Landing community, and how the lifestyle they’ve adopted here helps keep them young.
“What you can do here is limited only by your imagination.”
Two couples and best of friends describe the countless opportunities Monarch Landing offers to stay active and engaged…and how much they enjoy living here.
“I love hearing about their children, their grandchildren, their great-grandchildren.”
These Monarch Landing staff members take genuine pleasure in interacting with the seniors they serve, and express great pride in the roles they play to enrich residents’ lives every day.
Dinnertime is a special pleasure for Carol. She loves our ever-changing menu choices, gets to socialize with her many friends, and sneaks in hugs for a granddaughter who waits tables here to help pay for college.
